Terminator Salvation: Final Battle

Expanded from Terminator Salvation: The movie: A AU where Marcus survives his heart transplant. Marcus takes a much larger role in this comic considering John is busy fighting the war against the machines. Marcus is reactivated by Skynet given a mission of actually telling John and the Human Resistance that there is a new threat named Parnell and he is now the main threat instead of both of them. Marcus has to convince John and company that he didn’t come back evil and that he isn’t insane to tell them Skynet wants John’s help. After John talks with his friend for a while, they agreed it was for the best that John does this for the greater good. So John follows Marcus while Parnell agrees to help Dr. Kogan and Skynet in creating murderous terminators by connecting his brain into Skynet’s computers. Parnell gets too power hungry and wants all of Skynet’s powers forcing John to help Skynet and Dr. Kogan is trying to kill Skynet Parnell before he takes all of Skynet’s servers away. John’s essence is transferred into a t-800 and he fights Parnell and the bloody terminators while Marcus leads the human resistance.

 

Personality: <*> Independent- John tends to follow his own rules when following orders when he was in his non-leadership role, still moving up the military "chain of command". His motivations are purely based on what he’s been told all of his life that he is important and needs to do things on his own without relying on others. He tends to disobey the other Resistance Generals orders in the movies to do his own thing and he often gets in trouble for it. (Terminator Salvation and Final Battle were smashed together in the movies so it can be very confusing)

<*>Driven- When John experiences the chances to do things on his own, he is willing to go far to get things done. When Marcus goes on alone near the end of Salvation, John goes after him in case the terminator fails as a backup plan. Kyle Reese is the main reason why John is still alive.

<*> Resourceful- Within the very few things John Connor has to work with in the Human Resistance, he rounds up all the supplies he needs and makes it work out for the best. He knows his way around technology and is able to work with technology he rounds up from Skynet territory to make it his. He also knows how to work with people to get things done.

<*>Bold- To become the “voice” of the Resistance, one has to have swaying power and confidence in what they are saying as a “fated” leader of the Resistance. John represents the people he is trying to sway to his side. His brash confidence and his power of conviction is something people needed at the very moment.

<*>Surgency- John has been able to use his assertiveness throughout his life to get people on his side, especially soldiers and others throughout the world. In the books, he is able to use his technical prowess to convince others of his cause. He knows how to work with others and put his life at risk if it means saving others.

<*> Assertive -  As John grows older, so does his willingness to let others help him. His ability to bring people together with working with their strengths and weaknesses allows him to bring together people that match his own personality traits. When he needs to work with his father and second in command as a teen, he makes sure that his younger father as a teen is protected because he is the key to "everything" about John's life.

<*>Ambitious- John is willing to give up everything including his own life to make sure everything "goes according to plan".  He goes above and beyond his own expectations. He is a strict planner and organized. He knows that everyone is a piece to the puzzle.

<*>Brash- Connor values honesty and teamwork and sometimes he must step on other toes "carefully" to work his way up to what he wants to do.

 

Suitability: As a man who spent his life trying to survive a apocalyptic event of Judgement Day and help fight a man vs machine war against Skynet, John would want to help and learn about other apocalyptic situations like his and how he can help work closer to a solution to his own war.

Powers/Abilities: He knows how to hack computers and electronic equipment from Terminators to advanced technology. He also knows how to start cars manually and fight close if needed and with guns. He is a marksman. John knows how to use any type of gun he gets his hands on, both past and future weapons. He knows how to use them and was taught by the terminator and his mother as a kid. John has also had specialized military training due to his ventures in moving around the world. He possibly knows a bit of spanish as well due to some time spent in Mexico.

Entity Affinity: Entities that would take a leading interest in John Connor would be The Extinction, The End and The Eye . John’s always had a leading fear of his death and the foretold date of his death because of what the terminator already knew about him. However, being the leader of the Human Resistance means John’s got a lot of weight on his shoulders and the Extinction would be following him the most.
